DESS acts as a liaison with the engineering student clubs on-campus. In addition to the clubs' individual activities, each year the clubs and the College of Engineering and Computer Science work together to plan Engineers Week. Working collaboratively, the clubs host a variety of activities for all engineering students. Some of the events include: a kick-off brunch, a design contest for high school and college students, a team competition, industry speakers, and Mardi Gras style activities.
